World’s Biggest Snapping Turtle
If this is not the world's largest Snapping Turtle, then it is certainly the largest one I have seen this year — just coming out of hibernation and still grumpy.
No, that is not mud on its back. It's the entire island of Manhattan.
I saw it yesterday evening near the Spillway at the Celery Farm.
