Stepping Up For the Celery Farm!

I'm happy to say that the weather forecast for this weekend is showing seasonably warm weather and no rain showers. Looking at eBird, Celery Farm visitors have been seeing a variety of birds.

I've heard from some of you as to when you might be participating, counting the many bird species that we have come to expect during spring migration …. but there is still time to let me know. Also, when you have your final lists, please email them to me so I can send the totals out to everyone.

For those who meant to but haven't yet emailed Kurt with your pledge or donation amount, there is still time to send your information to Kurt, using the Pledge Form and information below, please.

Yes, I want to support Stepping Up by making a pledge per bird species seen. I understand that between 65 (2020) to 93 (2014) species have been recorded, however, the total could be higher if conditions are ideal.

You are welcome to come and bird anytime the Celery Farm is open – from dawn to dusk, but please don't park on the sidewalk (against state law).

You can walk around (please stay on the paths) or you can bird from one of the three platforms. There are a couple of bird guide books at the Kiosk that you may use while you're birding. Please remember to leave them for others.

During the warmer weather, bug spray is always suggested and a tick-check when you get home is strongly recommended.
