Fell House Wild Turkeys

DSCN6644
Patty and I looked across the Franklin Turnpike yesterday afternoon and saw six Wild Turkeys sauntering
DSCN6656across the Fell House property, completely at home.

Kind of neat for a Revolutionary War-era property.

Ben Franklin, who wanted to make the Wild Turkey the national bird instead of the Bald Eagle, would have been proud.

One more photo follows.

You have the best views–front and back. Love that barn…’gobble, gobble’. We had turkeys on our deck in planters this spring-very bold in our neck of the woods. 28 in all in our ‘rafter’.
