Jerry Barrack Photos at Fell House
This weekend, the John Fell House in Allendale is presenting a display and sale of Ace photographer Jerry Barrack's wonderful Celery Farm pictures.
The exhibition and sale are part of the annual holiday open house at the historic home of Founding Father John Fell. (The Celery Farm was once part of Fell's estate.)
All photographs were taken at the 107-acre natural area, and many are from our coffee-table book "In the Presence of Nature." All are beautifully matted and framed.
There's also an awesome sequence of Wood Ducklings jumping from their nesting box from "Duck Enough to Fly."
All proceeds from the sale of the photos go to the preservation of the Fell House. (Thanks, Jerry!)
The event also features designer-decorated rooms, live music, and story time featuring such local dignitaries as Celery Farm Marsh Warden Emeritus Stiles Thomas. Suggested admission is $10 — $5 for seniors and free for children under age 10.
