Fanning Report 060214: Mink, ‘Munk

With spring migration winding down quickly–it was a quiet morning at the CF–although a singing YELLOW-THROATED VIREO was this time near the main entrance–this may very well be the same bird from last week wandering around the preserve.

The Highlight of the morning was Non-avian–a MINK briefly glimpsed w/ a Chipmunk–on the main path going towards the Pirie Platform.

Full list follows.

  • I have a video of what I think is the Bicknells thrush singing, as well as a few pictures (though not the best of pics). I’m looking to share the video to help it be identifued, but I’m not sure how to do do, or who to send it to.
