The Third Annual Allendale Moth Ball, a free celebration of moths and other nightlife — featuring a great live band — takes place Friday, July 11, from 8:30-10:30 p.m., at Crestwood Park in Allendale.

The event, at the park’s Red Barn, will feature special moth lights in hopes of attracting a wide variety of these amazing creatures of the night.  Moth aficionados will be on hand to help you ID them and learn more about them.
