My Latest Column: Birdy 30 Winners

My latest column for The Record and Herald News features the winners of last month's Birdy 30 contest.

Rocco De La Roche (above) won top honors with 21 species seen in 30 minutes, and Stephanie Seymour (below) won the drawing for the other prize. (She also saw 75 juncos during her Birdy 30.

    How foolish am I that I thought the count had to be at the feeders…??? DUH. Watch our for me in 2015….

    That Wheatear is my choice for best bird ever at Dekorte–and there have been some good ones!
