If you missed today's Bergen County Audubon/NJMC Third-Tuesday Walk, boy did you miss out!
After seeing two or three Bald Eagles during the first 90 minutes, we followed a bunch of crazed Blue Jays and saw six distant perched Bald Eagles by Mehrhof Pond — including this young dude, which flew overhead.
So we drove over to Mehrhof Pond and counted at least 10 — count 'em, 10 — adult and juvenile Bald Eagles perched across the pond.(Thanks, Don, Ramon
