Was lucky to arrive home yesterday in time to see the most recent Bald Eagle way out on the ice at the Celery Farm, as Rob Fanning had reported. (Thanks, Rob!)

The bird was distant, and not quite an adult, but definitely a Bald Eagle. (Canada Goose in background give you a sense of size.)

Common Mergs and Hooded Mergs, too.

There are still lots of dead fish embedded on the ice, so should be good eating for a while. (Though foggy today.)
