Headed up to West Park, N.Y. and the legendary John Burroughs Sanctuary for their annual Moth Night last night.

Entomologist Matthew Rymkiewicz played host and play-by-play announcer as bugs and moths descended on the two white cloths illuminated by UV lights. We saw several moths, huge beetles, fish flies and plenty of other insects near the sanctuary's pond house.

The event was part of the annual (awesome) National Moth Week celebration.
