Photographed these three guys in Hawk Mountain's native plant garden last month — all within the span of about five minutes.
Who are they?
The first and third photos are both dogwood sawfly larvae- they’re actually wasps. #2 is a milkweed tussock..
My guess would be:
1. Black Swallowtail
2. Milkweed Tussock
3. Hairstreak
But it is only a guess.
