Nature Done Wright

Johnsonburg Swamp is one of The Nature Conservancy's preserves in western New Jersey, out by Blairstown.

The preserve has a deer exclosure several acres in size, and the forest under story there looks like what an understory should look like, filled with plants and saplings.

I took some photos there earlier this week. As you may have gathered, it is one scenic place — even if the beautiful body of water pictured above is the not-so-elegantly named"Mud Pond."

It is roughly an hour and 15 minutes from the Celery Farm.
