Elusive Redhead Captured (With Cameras)!
Jerry Barrack and I were at the Warden's Watch this morning, and we found the elusive Redhead swimming in the distance, toward the Pirie-Mayhood Tower.
After it swam back toward Wood Duckling Pond, we headed for the Pena bench, where the Redhead was feeding nearby. I got some decent shots, and Jerry's, I am sure, got far better ones.
Hoping to post some of Jerry's pix later today or tomorrow.
The duck was found at the Celery Farm by Rob Fanning on Monday.
This is by far the best view I have ever had of this typically distant duck, rarely seen around here.
