Last Chance to Hear My Halloween Ghost Story, ‘The Drownling’
Join me tonight (Wednesday, Oct. 28) at 7 p.m. at the Mahwah Public Library as I read:
*My chilling new ghost story, “The Drownling,” set at the John Fell House in Allendale on Halloween night in 1944. (The story is also in the current issue of Autumn Years magazine.)
- “Phantoms of the Ramapos,” based on actual events in 1938, including a car race at the Ho-Ho-Kus Speedway, an armed bank robbery in Allendale, and a getaway at the Darlington Schoolhouse in Mahwah. (Includes a slide show of archival photos.)
On Thursday night at 7 p.m., I'll read the two stories at the Franklin Lakes Public Library.
Both events are free and open to the public. Free popcorn courtesy of Popcorn Indiana, and ginger snaps and apple cider courtesy of John Fell will be served.
The Mahwah Public Library is located at 100 Ridge Rd, Mahwah. www.mahwahlibrary.org
The Franklin Lakes Public Library is located at 470 De Korte Drive. www.franklinlakeslibrary.org
