Announcing a New Annual Team Competition
Last weekend, the Fyke Nature Association and the Bergen County Audubon Society competed in their first annual Christmas Bird Count Competition.
Whichever team counts the most species on Count Day wins the coveted "Crowphy," pictured above. It is even more awesome in person.
Results are still being tabulated for 2015, Here is a preview of what the winner gets to gather dust with until the 2016 rematch. This year's winning margin will be next year's handicap.
Below is a photo of part of Fyke's legendary team in action on Saturday. They saw so many birds they did not know where to look.

I love the Crowphy. I think it should be an annual event where the winning team gets to keep the Crowphy until the next competition.
