The Ramsey CBC was held on Sat. 12/19. 

 

80 species were tallied, w/ the following notable birds/numbers recorded.

 

SNOW GOOSE (125), Wood Duck (8), Am. Wigeon (14), REDHEAD (3), LONG-TAILED DUCK (1), Com. Goldeneye (10), Wild Turkey (95), PB Grebe (7), Black Vulture (47), Bald Eagle (16), AM KESTREL (2), MERLIN (3), Killdeer (3), Coot (38), BARRED OWL (2), Sapsucker (3), Pileated Woodpecker (13), RAVEN (11), Winter Wren (1), Bluebird (66), Hermit Thrush (1), Catbird (1), Tree Sparrow (4), Field Sparrow (2), Fox Sparrow (4), PURPLE FINCH (3), SISKIN (1).

 

Big misses incl. Great Horned Owl, YR Warbler, Towhee, and Creeper.

 

The only notable count-week sighting were the 3 Barnacle x Cackling Geese (3) Hybrids.  (Thank, Rob!)
