Can you identify this historic Allendale house, and where was located?
A big clue is in the painting, which hangs in the Fell House, across from the Celery Farm on Franklin Turnpike.

Intersection of Franklin Tpke and E. Crescent Ave? I have a vague recollection of the remains of a stone wall there from years ago. The picture shows the arm of the toll stile on Franklin. I could be wrong.
