Great Backyard Bird Count Walk at Teaneck Creek 021416

IMG_0701
I joined a few other brave (crazy) souls for the Great Backyard Bird Count Walk yesterday at the Teaneck Creek Conservancy.

The walk was sponsored by the Bergen County Audubon Society and Polar Bear Club.

The temperature at walk time was just above zero degrees Fahrenheit. Fortunately the humidity made it seem a little warmer.

Highlights included a Rusty Blackbird and a warm cup of coffee when I got home. I can now move my toes again.

(Yes, the three folks in the photo above are frozen solid.)

Full list follows.
