NYC naturalist Gabriel Willow gives a multimedia presentation about the mysteries of bird migration, exploring why NYC & NJ are of particular importance for migratory songbirds and other species.
Learn about the latest science on avian migration, what migratory species are found in our area, what you can do to observe and conserve these species and what observation of these species can tell us about climate change and other environmental issues.
We will also explore what particular challenges urban settings pose for migratory species.
