The Record’s Article about the Osprey’s Comeback

The Record's Jim O'Neill has a cool story in the paper today (Saturday) about the Osprey's comeback in New Jersey.

O'Neill reports that there were more than 600 nests in the state last summer — up from roughly 50 pairs or so in the early 1970s.

The Ospreys' comeback parallels the comebacks of the Bald Eagle and the Peregrine Falcon, whose populations were also drastically diminished by DDT.
