Wood Ducks Galore in the Celery Farm Trees
A flock of Wood Ducks was checking out the trees along the path near the spillway, as well as my empty Screech Owl box this a.m.
Quite a sight. Had two be at least a half-dozen males and females. Took these pix from my living room so as not to disturb them.

Love these ducks. The males are so beautiful! I had read that they can hold on to tree branches and nest in the trees. That’s crazy! Thanks for the photos to show it.
