Celery Farm Butterfly Report 070816

IMG_9893
Butterflies at the Celery Farm have been few and far between, aside from Cabbage Whites, but things are improving as some of the flowers are blooming in Fred's Field and the Swamp Milkweed is blooming by the Butterfly Garden.

In recent days I have seen an Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, a Black Swallowtail, a GS Fritillary, a Red Admiral, a likely Eastern tailed-blue  and a skipper or two.

Skipper is above. I am thinking Broad-winged Skipper but it has been a while…

Let me know of any CF butterfly sightings. The walk is eight days away.
