Celery Farm Report by the Archers

The Archers, who are frequent Celery Farm visitors and friends of this blog, report:

The Celery Farm was pretty quiet recently and we were beginning to feel "skunked" as we reached the final stretch…until…We spotted HIM…Black-crowned Night Heron.

I must officially be a birder because I spent a good half hour gazing at him. He just sat there and posed. We also saw the wood ducks, which was very exciting and more hummingbirds.

This place NEVER disappoints and it's a totally unique experience every time we visit.

The Archers also saw two Green Herons this week. (Thanks, Archers!)
