And, no, it is not a rock pigeon.

  • Found it today at the Farm. Sweet. We see these on grave stones in Italy as remembrances of those passed

  • In Alaska they are called Inukshuk. Traditionally used by the Inuit, stones are stacked in a human figure as a landmark or commemorative sign. My husband and I left one each on the trail near Mendenhall Glacier. I have 2 in my garden.

  • It’s a cairn, often used by hikers to signal followers or to mark an occasion
