A New Celery Farm Facebook Page

I wanted to let you know that the Celery Farm now has a Facebook page – facebook.com/theceleryfarm.

It is intended as another way to communicate with our members and others, and will:

 - list events such as our monthly members meetings and field trips
 - post requests for volunteers to spruce up our lovely nature preserve (like the April 1 Annual Cleanup)
 - request assistance with hands-on conservation efforts such as helping to remove invasive plants
 - request the assistance of volunteers to help with small projects and events at the John Fell House, our neighbor across the Turnpike whose history is entwined with the Celery Farm.

It will NOT supplant the information that is available on the Fyke website – fykenature.org and we will continue to send emails regarding meetings, events, volunteer opportunities.

So if you are not on Facebook or don't care to go on it, please be assured that we will still be in touch.

If you do go on the FB page, please consider "liking" it (assuming you do  :  ) and mentioning it to others who might be interested. That helps with the FB verification process. You can post comments, observations about the Celery Farm.

Finally, this is still a work in progress. I'm somewhat technology-challenged and am still tweaking some items. Please be patient with the process.

Thank you,

Gabriele
