A Tree Falls in Waldwick
When Stiles Thomas bangs on your front door and shouts, "Quick, grab your camera and your coat," you do as he says.
I hopped in his car, and after being assured I wasn't being driven somewhere to photograph a giant icicle, we drove down the Franklin Turnpike to Waldwick, where we saw the following scene.
Most important, no one was hurt. The truck, quite a bit. The culprit was high winds, along with a dead tree.

To drive slowly by a car accident (or site having emergency vehicles) and turn the head to see anything gory. This act exacerbates traffic delays. Rubbernecking is the act of staring at something of interest. The term rubbernecking refers to the physical act of craning one’s neck, performed in order to get a better view. Rubberneck has been described as a human trait that is associated with morbid curiosity. -
