Why did the Wild Turkeys cross the road on this drizzly morning?

To slow down the morning commuters on Franklin Turnpike.

Thirteen in all, six males and seven females.

So you might take it easy on the Franklin Turnpike, especially between the parking lot and Fox Run.

I helped them cross, but I don't want to make a habit out of it — at least not without wearing a bright jacket like the real crossing guards wear.
