More about Feathers…

This week's Monday Morning Mystery involved a found feather, and I flippantly suggested that it was an American Griffin feather. 

Not sure what the answer is — these days, any time I come across a large feather in Allendale, I first think Canada Goose or Wild Turkey because they are the most common.

Marianne Herrmann suggested consulting the Feather Atlas, a pretty cool tool. The link is here.

In the meantime, if anyone could photograph a local Griffin…
