Monday Morning Mystery 052917

IMG_3118For the third year in a row at least, this bird has been nesting in an undisclosed location near the Celery Farm.

What is it? (We know the answer if you don't.)

  • Northern rough wings are interesting swallows known to nest sometimes in round cylinders like cannons. There was a pair nesting in a drain spout in Fair lawn. If I had the energy and skill, I would build cylinder nesting sites around the Meadowlands to see if I could attract more. That’s if my I’d is correct.
