State Line Part 1: Bald Eagle & More

IMG_4771
Made my first trip to the State Line Hawk Watch in Alpine during fall migration and was treated to a great little show, including a mini-kettle of a dozen Broad-wings, a Gray Ghost, an immature Bald Eagle overhead (above, of course),  a local Peregrine, an Am. Kestrel, a Coop and a Sharpie and more.

The view was not chopped liver either.

Raptor list of nine species follows.

Black Vulture
Turkey Vulture
Osprey
Northern Harrier
Sharp-shinned Hawk
Cooper's Hawk
Bald Eagle
Broad-winged Hawk
Red-tailed Hawk
