I removed two of my feeders yesterday afternoon, but left this one up.
A bear (apparently) mangled the feeder itself to get at the suet, but did not eat it. Why not?
discretionary taste buds? After tasting said, I’m really not that hungry!
I like Carols answer, yet I think that’s hot pepper suet and the bear has indigestion from spicy food.
Most likely he is watching his cholesterol level and did not want to eat the fat.
