Skunk Cabbage!

IMG_7087
After the Yellowstone trip, just had to walk around the Celery Farm and look for Skunk Cabbage, a sure sign of spring.

I struck out is several of the usual places, then saw a couple of emerging plants on the western section of the trail.

Soon after, I saw Skunk Cabbage everywhere. Snow may be forecast for Wednesday, but Spring is around the corner. Just not sure which corner yet.

More on Skunk Cabbage here.

Used to always look for skunk cabbage growth in March, as I lived on Pearl Brook (Third River) in Clifton for many years. Now live in Palm Beach County.
