Northern Valley High School's Earth Fair looks awesome this year, and not just because I'll be giving a talk and slide show on my favorite birding places in North Jersey.

I'll be on just before the Redhawk Native American Dancers (above), and that's a good thing. They look like a tough act to follow.

The fair is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., though the free paper shredding begins at 9 a.m., according to the schedule.
