Incorporating the Celery Farm and Screech Owl Companion blogs

May 4, 2018

Volunteers Needed for Saturday a.m.

The Celery Farm's trails have taken a beating from the recent storms, and we need as many volunteers as possible to help us put wood chips on the perpetually soggy areas.

We're working from 10 a.m. to noon. We need folks to load wood chips into wheelbarrows, folks to wheel the chips to the Rail Trail and Parnell's Path, and rakers to spread the wood chips.

Many hands makes lighter work.

Please let me know if you can make it, and whether you are bringing your pitchfork, rake or wheelbarrow (or garden cart).  We need to know all this so we can plan accordingly, and update you on any changes of plans.  Email: celeryfarm (at) gmail.com

Thanks for volunteering to maintain the Celery Farm!

By the way, we're also having a free Warbler Walk at 8 a.m. on Saturday, meeting at the Green Way cul de sac. Come for the birds, stay for the trail work!

BYOWG.  Bring your own work gloves. :- )

We hope to see you Saturday.

Thank you!
