Perhaps Disgusting Monday Mystery
Bob Leafe of Hackensack writes:
I found these sitting on some roof tar. They're about 1/4" in diameter.
At first, I thought they were some kind of worm, but excretion looks a bit more likely (though the white filling in some of them throws me off).
Any idea what they could be? (Thanks, Rob! I think.)

I think a dumpster diving crow has collected himself maybe some onion rings or soggy pretzels? Maybe squid from behind a restaurant?
