Duke Farms Eagle Cam Is Back
In plenty of time for the start of the 2019 nesting season, the Duke Farms eagle cam is back in action.
No one can predict whether a pair of Bald Eagles will nest at the Hillsborough site this spring, but the past two years aside, the location has had an enviable record of success.
In 2015 and 2016, I wrote for Duke Farms' blog about the Bald Eagles and their nest, and watching the eagle cam was must-see television. You just never knew what might happen next.
I'll try to post updates and reminders when something is going on at the nest.
These days, you might be looking at an empty nest one minute and watching an adult eagle bringing in a stick the next.
Knock on wood.
(You can watch the streaming YouTube video above by clicking on the triangle. Once you can see the nest on the YouTube page, you can click on the little square-like button in the lower right and see the cam full-screen. You can also read the comments on the right of the screen to learn about recent nest activity.)
