Monday Morning (Art) Mystery II
Came across a seascape painting of Cape May at the Woodmere Art Museum in Philly last month. I am trying to figure out what the bird in the painting is… Any ideas?

BTW, the same museum has another painting by Briscoe, “Cod Fishing on the Banks”, where Gannets are depicted (it seems to me) more clearly….
