Yesterday I noticed a Red-shouldered Hawk flying above Lake Appert before disappearing to the north.
That reminded me that our local Red-shoulders should be nesting.
Your assignment: Let me know if you see any local Red-shoulders flying with food or nesting materials, where you saw them, and in what direction they were headed.

The past two springs, we never did find a nest, so we wonder-if/hope-that a new female is nesting this year.
