‘Stepping Up’ Results!

Despite dire forecasts and not the best of conditions, an intrepid band of birders walked the paths of The Celery Farm from 6:00 am to 7:30pm.
 
A round of applause for everyone who came out to support this annual fundraising effort; our total was 80 species! Here's our final list (Thnaks, Gaby!)
 
Two questions:What was the bird of the day, and what common birds eluded us?
