A Bear in My Backyard?

I heard some mighty weird (and deep) animal sounds in my backyard last night.

This morning, the metal trash can containing more than 50 pounds of bird-feeding supplies was on its side, and a 20-pound bag of seed was dragged 20 yards away and torn.

To be safe, I am taking down my feeders for several days and taking the previously secure trashcan inside.

    Maybe try leaving out a handful of seed, in same place, and have an audio recorder available. If you can get some sound, maybe we can figure out what it is. I’d guess it was a bear, though.
