Coyotes: Another Reason to Stay on the Trail
Today my sister and I were walking Celery Farms way back past the deer fences and stumbled upon a young family of deer on the trail. As we started walking past them my sister yelled coyote and I quickly snapped a shot of it running away.
It was very close to us under some brush before it took off — my guess stalking the deer nearby.
It could be the potential intruder trying to steal your birdseed.
Thanks for the heads up and the photo, Brian!
Besides poison ivy and ticks, this is another reason to stay on the trails at all times.

Maybe it would be helpful if you could educate the area about coyotes and bears and how they react if they see a human and what humans can do if they see a coyote or bear please. And how we can keep them away from our residential areas… But I guess with the deers..rabbits..etc. being all over the coyotes will be following them?
