High Mountain, 4th of July

IMG_1937 (1)Did the annual hike to the summit of High Mountain yesterday and saw the freshly painted Stars and Stripes. A great improvement over the previous graffiti.

Highlights included Black Swallowtails, Barn Swallows, and a Scarlet Tanager.

One frog was hanging out at the waterfall near Reservoir Drive.
