When I bought my first pair of Vortex binoculars (from their Eagle Optics line) more than a decade ago, I was attracted in part to their lifetime warranty.

Recently, I brought the pair back to Wild Birds Unlimited to see if I might be able to replace the rubber eye guards that had fallen off. 

Scott Gunther of WBU said the binoculars were still under warranty and that he'd send them in for repair.

Just got them back, refurbished at no cost. they are like new. (Thanks, Vortex!)
