3 Future Butterflies in the Library

As you enter the big room at Lee Memorial Library, be sure to look to your left and check out the large mesh enclosure.

It is the home to three butterfly chrysalises — two Monarchs and a Black Swallowtail — that my wife and I donated to the library.

The Monarchs could emerge any day. The Black Swallowtail is likely a couple of weeks away.

The library did a great job displaying the chrysalises.
