2026, Year of the Peregrine?

When I worked for the Meadowlands Commission, I invented a “Bird of the Year” T-shirt.

After taking a photo of a peregrine along the Hackensack River in 2012, I figured it would be a great Bird of the Year. Let’s hope for another banner year in 2026.
