Nature Done Wright

      Sally Teschon, a friend of this blog, offered these two moments as among her favorite Celery Farm moments of the past year, and was kind enough to provide photos as well. She incorporates the Celery Farm into her work with her speech students.

  * The milkweed pod [above] had exploded on Phair’s Pond and I saw a face in the seeds. Showed it to the kids at school. Just so much fun.

   * I met this buck [below] on the Mayor’s Trail when he was in rut, after a doe, on the path. The does passed me by, too. My heart was pounding, he came so close to me on the path, but he wasn’t interested in me.
